Images were chosen from family albums and include daily life, social organizations, work, personal and holiday celebrations, and migration and immigration activities. During a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony the groom, Sanjay, is seated on the left while his bride, Pinel, receives a blessing from their friend Isabel Tum. Behind the bride stands her brother, Mahesh, and her friend, John. Only members of the brides family participate in the wedding, however close friends of the family are considered family members.
