Photograph caption dated June 3, 1959 reads "James Cagney honored at preview for 30 years as film star -- left to right at showing of 'Shake Hands with the Devil' are Walter Seltzer, Mae Clark, Cagney, Dana Wynter and George Glass." The event took place at the Screen Directors Guild Theater. Many celebrities who had worked with Cagney over the years came to pay tribute to him including such notables as Betty Davis, Charlton Heston, and Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
