Description
Photograph of an unidentified lumber yard, ca.1930. Thick logs lay on the ground in rows while a man who appears to be in motion sits on a trunk to the left. In the foreground, logs lie beneath the upper row in perpendicular relation. A darkly colored building on the left sits behind the logs with a triangular roof and small rectangular windows lining the sides. A large rectangular hole in the side lets out logs that run down a conveyer belt and into the ground while water sprays the logs as they shoot out. A brick building, with one smokestack in the center, sits just to the right of center while tall coniferous trees are visible in the background.
