Description: A Dipsea Race runner in Lyton Square. Written on front of photo: "W. J. Churchill Mill Valley Sept. 17, 1922". William Churchill would record the fastest time but, taking into account the Dipsea tradition of handicapping faster and slower entrants, only placed 18th.
