Description
The photo was used for two articles dated 1958 and 1961.
Panoramic view of the city looking northeast on a clear day, November 15, 1958. How the "City of Our Lady Queen of the Angels" has grown can be seen in this photo showing the Plaza (arrow) and its surrounding areas. Identified are: #101 Hollywood Freeway (1) leading to the Santa Ana and San Bernardino Freeways at right, and Union Station (2), to the left of which is the Post Office Terminal Annex. Main and Los Angeles Streets are labelled.
