Description
Grappling with problems created by $1,000,000 reductions in Los Angeles county's relief budget, state and local relief officials are shown in conference here today. Seated at the far right is Dr. Glen E. Carlson of San Bernardino, acting chairman of the California relief commission, who presided. Los Angeles county was allotted $3,071,000 for March, and if more is not allotted, 17,500 more persons will go on a dole, the meet was told. Photo dated March 2, 1935.
