Description
Photograph of parade in honor of Charles Lindbergh, September 1927. At center, a long line of ten automobiles parade down the middle of the street, passing the Chamber of Commerce building. The two automobiles leading the parade sport two American flags near their hoods. Additionally, several patriotic flags and symbols hang from wires extending across the street. On one wire near the center of the road, one banner carries the words "Welcome Lindbergh". On both sides of the wide street, crowds of people are seen watching and cheering the parade. Flags and decorations are wrapped around each lamppost lining both sides of the street. Also, small bits of confetti can be seen flying through the air.
