Description
Photograph of the exterior of the abandoned Mormon Mill in San Bernardino on Mill creek, ca.1895. The wooden building is at center and part of the wall in the middle has collapsed. The wooden plank roof is sagging where the wall is missing. The area around the structure is covered with rocky rubble and a few large boulders. A steep rocky mountain rises behind the building. The building was erected in Stone Canyon when stones were being quarried for the courthouse at Court and E Streets in the early 1890's. Photoprint reads: "First wooden water pipes were furnished from the mill - Beattey Hustay, says Mr. Relden, San Bernardino".
