Photograph shows a portrait of Judge Horace Allen Mayhew, b. 1821. H. A. Mayhew was a lawyer and also a Presbyterian minister. He was Pastor of the Red Bluff Presbyterian Church and also County Judge. Tehama County History, page 116, Sacramento Valley History & Biography, page 717 (note by Leo A. McCoy). Penciled on back: H. A. Mayhew - 2 Presbyterian Minister who married us Dec. 18th, 1883. Also county Judge.
