"Ein wilder Feigenbaum, davor Zuckerrohr" ("A wild fig tree, in front of it sugar cane"). The fig tree is very tall and leafy. The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
