In December 1963, 19-year-old Frank Sinatra Jr. was kidnapped from his dressing room in the Harrah�s Club Lodge in Lake Tahoe by 23-year-old former high school classmates from Los Angeles�Barry Keenan and Joe Amsler. A third conspirator, John Irwin, was brought on to help collect a ransom. Sinatra was held in a Canoga Park house for three days and was released while the ransom was being collected. The three conspirators where quickly located by the FYI and later convicted.
Photograph caption dated February 19, 1964 reads, ""He Sneaked In, And Now He Sneaks Out. Frank Sinatra Sr., leaves Federal Building in car."" Sinatra had testified as a witness in a case relating to his son's kidnapping.
