Description
This college grew out of the nursing program at the Loma Linda Sanitarium, which opened in 1905. A few months after the sanitarium began receiving its first patients, the Nursing School was opened. Over the years, additional medical programs and schools were developed, including the School of Medicine. As of 2008, Loma Linda offers degress in Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Science and Technology.
