Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Sierra Madre Villa, Pasadena, ca.1890. The two-story villa is pictured beyond a clump of short orchard trees that stands in the foreground. The clapboarded main section stands perpendicular to the secondary sections, a small tower extending from its roof. To the right, two identical sections of similarly clapboarded villa are seen, a peak center at the front of their roofs, perpendicular to their primary peaks. All visible windows are shuttered. Mountains are visible in the background.
