Description
A wishing well faces a red tiled roof building across a garden quadrangle. Photo caption reads: "Cultivated by women veterans of World War I, the Women's Cottage Garden at the Los Angeles Veterans Adminstration Center, is in perpetual blossom with representative flowers and shrubs from all over the world. The Wishing Well was a part of the original landscape designed by the late Harold Vincent Meakin and dedicated to Women Veterans of America". Photo dated: June 17, 1947.
