Photograph included in the exhibit: "From Hula Hoops to Hanoi: L.A. Concerns, 1954-1965."
Photograph caption dated August 16, 1962 reads, "James Flournoy, left, Republican candidate for State Board of Equalization, joins with Councilman Tom Shepard and Nixonettes Ellen Burg and Mrs. Jim Rhodes to publicize opening of Reseda 'Nixon for Governor' headquarters. Formal ceremonies will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with the public invited to visit the office, 7130 Reseda Blvd. Telephone number at the headquarters, which is financed and staffed by Reseda Republican Women's Club, is 345-6191."
