Description
Brigadier General Henry Morris Naglee purchased land in San Jose in 1858. He planted orchards and a vineyard and started a winery. His country house still stands at Fourteenth Street and San Fernando Street. The estate was subdivided in 1902 and it is now known as the neighborhood, Naglee Park.
