Other buildings are visible along both sides of the street. Automobiles are parked along the curb. A few share the street with a streetcar. Pedestrians are visible in the street and on the sidewalks. A flag flies from the side of a building in the foreground at right. A billboard is visible on the building just beyond. Flags fly from other buildings in the image including the Broadway Department Store. Other visible buildings include the Hotel Clark. Legible signs include: "Broadway Department Store", "E. Wilson", "Occidental Hotel", "St. Clarenden Hotel", "Good place to eat, Boos Bros. Cafeteria", "Pool"..., "cigar", "Stop", "442 J"..., "meats", "In Van Nuys", "Haas"..., "Investment Building", "Bullocks".
