Aerial view of Spesutie Island, and the grounds used by Edwin Powell Hubble for ballistics experiments and testing. Note in the hand of Grace Burke Hubble: "From the air, Spesutie Island, and the bridge over the Narrows, World War II, experiment ground used by EPH (Also penciled drawings on back) under snow. Huntington Library. Haunted House [Hubbles' residence on Spesutie Island] at bridge's end as it touches the island."
