Photograph. "New Montecito Apartments, to open next Tuesday at Franklin and Cherokee Avenues. Erected at a cost of $750,000 by Herbert Baruch & Co. for Cherokee Properties, Inc. Designed by Marcus Miller, local architect." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 29 August 1931. The building was erected in 1930. As of August 2014, it still exists.
