Description
St. Patrick's Church lies in ruins after the 1906 earthquake. The brick structure had been unable to withstand the violent shaking. Debris from the church has fallen into the street. The church had been built in 1881 at the northwest corner of Ninth and Santa Clara Streets. Within a year after the earthquake a new church had been erected on this site.
