A group of Contra soldiers stand and kneel as they pose for a photograph at El Porvenir Farm, located two kilometers from the Honduras-Nicaragua border. Two Contras kneeling in the front are wearing black berets, the rest are wearing olive-green colored caps. They are all holding either Belgian FN FAL or Soviet Kalashnikov assault rifles. In the middle of the group there is a child soldier. They are members of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN in Spanish), whose members are known informally as "Contras." Un grupo de soldados contra están de pie e hincados mientras posan para una foto en la granja El Porvenir, localizada a dos kilómetros de frontera entre Honduras y Nicaragua. Dos contras hincados en el frente portan boinas negras mientras los demás contras portan cachuchas de color verde olivo.
