Recording of the session titled "Computers and society" held at the Fourth West Coast Computer Faire in San Francisco. The following papers were presented: "Programmer drift: some symptoms, causes and cures," presented by Peter F. Zoll. "Can a corporation be sucessful if it operates with no profit?," presented by David R. Wortendyke. Please note that in the orginal program Jay Beker was supposed to present a paper titled "Computer crime: career of the future?" for personal reason Beker was not able to attend the conference. His paper was printed in the proceedings of the conference.
