Photograph of monoplane in flight near Mines Field factory, 1929. The monoplane can be seen in flight. The propeller at the front of the plane is nearly invisible in flight. Machinery can be seen surrounding the beak of the plane. A single cockpit is visible behind the large wing stretched over the top of the plane. The head of the pilot can be seen just above the rim of the cockpit. Beneath the body of the plane, two extended wheels are visible. On the tail of the plane and under the wing, the alphanumeric code "X-273E" is painted. The plane was made by Moreland Aircraft Company.
