Description
Stereo-4871. Yellow mount, yellow back. Shows homes in background, fields, orchards and fenced crops in foreground. William Chapman Ralston purchased the property in 1865 (located in the Canyon or Canada del Diablo) from Count Cipriani and began construction of new house (Ralston Hall) incorporating the exisiting structure. Design attributed to architect Henry Cleveland. Also have negative: no. 21,760 (4x5 in.)
