A Navajo woman and four children, two riding burros, traveling on a trail. Title transcribed from item. Signed on mount: "Frederick Monsen." Monsen's typed label on back says: "A Navajo family on the march. These Indians are ever on the move and seem to enjoy their nomadic life. Even the limit of their reservation of 25,000 square miles is not sufficient to their needs, for they are often found far beyond its boundaries."
