Description
Shows Hulett and his daughter on veranda with baby in bassinet.
Hulett Clinton Merritt was born in Duluth, Minn. in 1872. He was a financier and capitalist, active in railroads, utility companies, real estate, agriculture and mining. Moved to Pasadena in 1904, where built an Italian Renaissance palace at 99 Terrace Drive known as "Villa Merritt-Ollivier." He died in 1945. Rosaline Eunice died in 1938. She was a concert pianist.
