Photographic portrait of six couples of "La Jota" Spanish Dancers with the men kneeling, led by Jose Rivera, Los Angeles, ca.1910. Men in bolero suits kneel on one knee and hold their female partners' right hands with their own. The women are dressed in light-colored blouses, bolero vests, and skirts. A mariachi band plays to the right, in front of which a small boy sits with his hat placed next to him, looking directly at the camera.
