Photograph of seals at rest on a rock, ca.1910. Five wet seals glisten in the sun as they sit on a large rock at Santa Catalina Island. The seals heads face different directions while the curves of their blubber are visible along with their webbed appendages. To the right, two more seals can be seen on what appears to be a different rock. The rocks sit atop a body of water with some sort of plant growth covering the bottom portion.
