"Elim. Die Dachdecker nach der Arbeit" ("Elim. The roofers after work"). A group of thirteen men, some of them holding their tools, in front of a building. Willibald Schaberg (1900-?) was born in Dresden where he worked as a teacher and theologian. In 1929 he married Elfriede Henrietta Johanna Nigrin in Herrnhut. That same year they went to South Africa West where Willibald worked as a missionary in Elim until 1939 and again from 1948. From 1934 he was Präses of the Mission in South Africa West. In 1935 he was in Moravian Hill / Cape Town. From 1939 until his return to South Africa he stayed in Germany.
