Photograph article dated May 25, 1963 partially reads, "Two suspects in a Van Nuys diary holdup are being held in jail today after their car was spotted Friday by three policemen who were returning from the Los Angeles Police Academy and a target practice session. Arrested were two well-dressed men identified as Larry green Hughes, 27, 2025 W. Pico Blvd., L.A., and Joseph A. Hensley Jr., 26, 10822 Magnolia Blvd., North Hollywood. Three detectives - Chester E. Anderson, Henry Acosta and Lt. William Carter - were returning from target practice when they spotted the suspect's car and forced it to the curb after a 10-block chase on Woodman Ave. in Van Nuys." Photograph caption reads, "Laughing robbery suspects apparently think arrest a joke. Det. Guy Moulder, center, takes handcuffs off Hensley, left, and Hughes."
