Photograph of the residence of developer Leslie C. (or L.?) Brand, in Glendale, California, ca.1915. Three early automobiles are parked with their drivers next to them at a crossroads in front of the entrance-way to a large, arabesque building in the background. Palm trees line all sides of the driveways and are evident in the extreme foreground. This would later become the site of the Brand Library.
