Photograph caption dated September 4, 1964 reads, "Making a big splash yesterday was this new firefighting 'chopper' which can lay hose, deliver water in a 105 gallon tank, carry personnel and deliver equipment to altitudes over 15,000 feet. More than 200 Civil Defense and fire department personnel watched this first demonstration."
