Photograph shows inside the Oroville Dam Powerhouse. Written on back: Oroville Dam, California. The Oroville Dam Powerhouse is located in a great cavern, carved and blasted out of solid rock beneath the east abutment of the dam. The huge chamber is almost as long as two football fields and will contain six modern, sophisticated power turbines. It will produce enough electric power to supply the entire city of San Francisco.
