A photograph of the Saito family, including Sueo, Kikuye Francis, Kiku, Ted Akira, Tomiko, Faye Michiko, and probably Emiko, sitting on sofas in a drawing room in the Saito family house in Los Angeles, California. It was a family gathering for Obon, an annual Buddhist event. The handwritten note in Japanese on the back side records the date: August 15, 1937.
