Description
The old Santa Anita Station on the Santa Fe Railroad line. It's still there as of April 2, 1955. Elias J. Lucky Baldwin, owner of the property, once wanted to ride from San Bernardino to this station. The ticket agent told him the train didn't stop there. Baldwin ordered his ranch superintendent to start tearing up the train tracks! Baldwin got his ticket, and the train did stop.
