Description
Photograph of a young girl examining a Bird of Paradise plant, [s.d.]. The girl stand on the right with the ringlets of her shiny, dark hair hanging over her flower-printed sun dress. Her eyes are almost closed in the sunlight as she smoothes what appears to be the "beak" of one stem of the Bird of Paradise plant in her fingers. The five flowers have long, lightly-colored petals emerging from the upper surface of the beak-like top of the thick stems.
