Description
Photograph of President McKinley in the parade of La Fieste de Los Angeles, 1901. The carriage, drawn by a team of 4 white horses here at the intersection of Fourth Street and Main Street, is protected by a corps of a dozen or more mounted police. The massive crowd of tightly packed spectators on both sides of the street completely obscure the street, sidewalks, and fronts of adjacent buildings. A regal hotel is probably the building behind the crowd.
