Title supplied by cataloger. Formerly located at 451 N. Hill Street on Fort Moore Hill, the two-story Central Junior High School building was built in 1936 by the City of Los Angeles Board of Education and designed by architect A. C. Zimmerman in the Mediterranean Revival Style. In later years, the campus was known as the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices with the address of 450 N. Grand Avenue. Looking north towards Fort Moore Hill from outside the Hall of Justice at Aliso and Spring streets on December 6, 1950. Excavation and construction of the Santa Ana Freeway/US 101 is well underway. Atop Fort Moore Hill are the Los Angeles City Board of Education Administrative Offices, formerly Central Junior High School.
