Photograph caption dated June 25, 1958 reads "Hundreds of boys participated this week in ceremonies launching the Tujunga-Sunland Kiwanis baseball league. Among the notables present to honor the boys were, from left, George Hjelte, general manager of the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department; Mayor Norris Poulson; Bob Rankin, past lieutenant governor, Division 3 Kiwanis International and past president of the Tujunga-Sunland Kiwanis club, master of ceremonies for the event; H. Park Arnold, International Kiwanis president, and Warren Harding, Tujunga-Sunland Kiwanis Club president."
