Photograph caption dated March 2, 1960 reads, "Laurel Whited, 6, feeds jet black puppy with baby's nursing bottle as pup's mother observes routine. French poodle gave birth to 10 offspring in unusual multiple birth. According to child's mother, Mrs. Nordstrom C. Whited, of 4747 Noble Ave., Sherman Oaks, French poodles ordinarily have only three or four puppies in each litter. Whited family helps out with baby bottle during day."
