Description
The Bolinas Branch of the Marin County Free Library was established in 1928. Initially located in a houseboat (pictured) donated by Fred Suhr, its other locations included "Ships Lantern"; a former butcher shop; and a building owned by Mrs. Adams, downtown. In September 1952, the library moved to the Petar Store building.
