Traffic manager Lloyd Braff rolls a portable battery-operated traffic signal into place for a test run at the corner of Temple and Grand. The City of Los Angeles bought 12 signals to be used where regular signals fail or where they will help clear traffic jams. Various models of automobiles are seen parked on the street and in a lot near the busy intersection. Photo dated March 25, 1955.
