Photograph caption dated July 6, 1956 reads, "Hollywood got a new landmark when Max Factor and Co. formally opened doors of its new general offices and research laboratories at company's new $1,000,000 building in heart of movie capital. Modern three-story porcelain enamel, glass and brick building is latest in Hollywood's long-term face lifting program."
