Written on back: "FLAMING PHOENIX FOR WORLD'S FAIR TOWER-Sculptor O. C. Malmquist is shown at work on a half-size scale model of the 20-foot Phoenix, symbolizing San Francisco, that will seemingly rise from flames atop the 400-foot Tower of the Sun at next year's Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay.
