Description
Photograph snipe dated October 20, 1971 reads, "W.L.A. Sheriff's Station. Kenneth Como, 31, friend of convicted killer Charles Manson is escorted out of here by deputies who are leading him to the county jail. Como escaped last night only to be recaptured early today. The deputy on the right is the one who originally arrested him." Como was being indicted in a Hawthorne robbery and shootout with police.
