Photograph article dated July 27, 1964 reads, "More than 10,000 children of all ages were guests of Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus at a special matinee for Los Angeles' many charity groups at the Sports Arena. The afternoon was an extra special treat for 160 children and their families from the seven day camps of the Braille Institute of Los Angeles. The blind children met and laughed at several clowns and animals. It was the fourth annual circus day for Braille Institute. Meeting a clown for the first time, above, are John Geltermair, left, and Michael Leon of the Braille Institute Cub Scout Troop 82, both students at the Valley Day Camp..."; See images #00114492 through #00114494 for all photos in this series.
