Photo--black and white: William S. "Bill" Borba on Bear Flag Float circa 1940s during a parade, possibly in San Francisco. Borba stands high on a "rock" holding the California Bear Flag. An unidentified emblem is on the side of the "rock." Borba wore Captain "Boss" Meeker's boots that are now are in the possession of the Western Sonoma County Historical Society.
