Description
Photograph of a proposed dam site on the Colorado River at Mojave Canyon near Needles, ca.1950. The water is calm with very few ripples disrupting the smooth surface. The river shimmers at its center, but reflects the dark banks at its edges. The banks are jagged rock mounds with several scattered weeds near the river's edge.
