Photograph of a Yuma Indian farmer, ca.1900. Portrait from the waist up. He is sitting outside on a wooden chair with turned sideways (to his right) so that his right arm hangs around the back of the chair. He has dark hair pulled to the back of his head and is wearing a dark vest over a dark shirt with bandana tied about his neck, and checkered trousers. The chain of a watch fob hangs from a button hole of his vest. A piece of paper(?) sticks out of the left breast pocket of his vest.
