Jones, 16611 Gilmore St., Van Nuys, left, whose father, Richard Jones, right, is rated one of top 10 welders in U.S., leaves Friday for Maryland's Aberdeen Proving Grounds to attend Army's welding school. Dan, 19, graduate of Birmingham High School, worked for his dad in Burbank welding shop before enlisting last March". Photograph dated: June 11, 1959.
